Really nice place, but food...

Liked: It was, depending on how fast you walk, 5-10 minutes from the train station and 10-15 minutes to town. Great staff and comfortable room.
Disliked: The only let down for me was the price of the food and drinks. Starters were up to £14, and an 8oz rib eye steak was £34.50!! A large glass of red wine was £10.50. Even if you can afford it, it’s not good value for money. There’s plenty of other options in town from budget prices upwards.

Liked: Arrived at the hotel early. Staff couldn’t be more helpful allowed Ilya to park on the grounds so we could go out for food. The room was very clean and a beautiful hotel

Liked: Great hotel, minutes from the train station. I had dinner which was exceptional!

Comfortable night in great location

Liked: Excellent location near to town centre. Beautiful garden and outdoor space leading onto The Inch, which is perfect for walking dogs
Disliked: I wanted to book breakfast for next morning, but dogs not allowed in dining room. I am totally fine with that but was not offered an alternative area to have breakfast in. Out of courtesy to others in the hotel, I did not want to leave them in the room while I had breakfast. I did have a lovely breakfast in town, where there are several dog friendly cafes.
