Liked: The location was excellent for getting around Cardiff. Everything was on hand around the hotel. We would recommend the Sorting room bar as the staff were helpful and friendly.

Not worth the money

Disliked: Poor communication. Went for my husband’s birthday and emailed them a number of times to see if they would do anything complimentary but they ignored all emails. Got to the hotel and asked and they said they usually do welsh cakes but our room was already and we were too late for that .we paid £300 non refundable and noticed rooms were going for £218 that week . Breakfast was not great , no vegetarian sausage, orange juice not fresh, welshcakes dry . No fridge in room and room quite small . Def will not be returning for that price. Park plaza far better value
