Ok stay but nothing amazing.

Liked: Good location near the M6 on our way from Devon to Scotland. Everything was ok but not brilliant, and I'd say it's more of a 3 than a 4 star hotel.
Disliked: The rooms were a little outdated. The bedside lamps didn't work and there were no plug sockets by the side of the bed except for a USB port. As we didn't have USB cables with us (only full plugs), we had to charge our phones elsewhere in the room. We tried to sit in the window at breakfast but were told that that part of the restaurant was closed. That would have been fine but they let multiple other people sit there after we entered, even though there was plenty of space in the "open" part.

Royal Hotel, fair price

Liked: Fantastic location, not far from the motorway, but far enough, you can't hear anything. Great facilities, lovely staff, overall great experience

Great hotel, food and services...

Liked: We stopped here overnight on the way to LEGOLAND, and choose this hotel as it had a pool. The room was lovely, facilities great and food at bar was delicious and good value. The room was too hot for us and no way to cool down, but everything else perfect.
