OK stay - wish we could have used the pool, complimetary drinks, valet parking.

Liked: Loved Rob Thomas and Matchbox 20. Best concert ever!
Disliked: Hotel stay and hidden fees. Everyone trying to make a buck.

Wow, what a room

Liked: When we first walked into the room, our immediate response was WOW, this room looks big! We liked the choice of colors for the room and the way they had everything arranged. It looked more business casual. It was so clean and inviting. It has a Keurig coffee machine in the room! Nice view of the pool area. A copy of the TV Channel Lineup. The real winner for us in the room was the bed! My husband Ricky and I had our BEST sleep in that bed. The mattress was perfect in every way. It was so comfortable and so relaxing. Did not do any tossing or turning trying to find just the right position because the bed felt so good. We only spent one night in the Palms Casino Resort, but what a wonderful night we had! The rest of the week we spent at their sister property Palms Place.
Disliked: Biggest disappointment for us was (3) of your eating places! Saturday night, 12/21/2025 @ 7:26 PM we had dinner at Mabel’s BBQ. The staff gets 5 stars but your food gets a big fat ZERO! We ordered 2 pork ribs, 2 pit beans and 2 lemonades. The pit beans were just ok, it was the only thing on the plate that was hot in temperature of the food. The lemonades had an aftertaste a horrible aftertaste. I had to ask my server for a Coke instead. They gave us kings Hawaiian dinner rolls that you buy in the store. That was insulting considering when you’re eating in a barbecue place like that you do NOT expect to be served “King Hawaii dinner rolls “!!! The barbecue ribs it’s self was the worst thing on the plate. The ribs taste like someone took a can of black pepper and poured it all over the ribs and then decided to serve it to us. It was the only thing you could taste on the ribs just pepper. We had to ask our server for some barbecue sauce to see if maybe just maybe it could kill the pepper and give it some flavor so that we could eat it. That only made it worse! The meat was falling off the bone but, it did not matter because you could not eat it. The ribs was not even served at any temperature. They were not cold but, they were NOT warm either. We did not ask to speak with the manager, we simply took our awful food to go then we did give our server Nelia her tip because she in NOT responsible for the garbage coming out of the kitchen. It was a lot of people in the restaurant that night, one family was celebrating someone turning 102 years old. I’m not finished yet the chairs do not have rubber on the bottom so every time you move your chair, they’re scraping across the floor, very annoying.Your second restaurant which is also disappointing was Serrano Vista Café. We ordered one slice of what looks to be a delicious carrot cake. Nope it wasn’t good at all. As a matter of fact it had no taste at all.
