Built around the famous South Zeal Menhir Standing Stone this 12th-century manor house is set in its own 4-acre monastery gardens in a pretty Devonshire village. Authentic and well priced small...

Liked: Very very old coaching inn right in the middle of a village high street with limited parking, an entertaining manager, good food and quirky atmosphere.

Lovely, Historic Building

Liked: Beautiful, old building in a lovely location. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicioous with a good choice on the evening menu. The bed was very comfortable.
Disliked: The room was slightly cold (but it was a very cold night).
