Good location, value for money,...

Liked: Very friendly and helpful lady who worked at reception in the evening and the following morning in the breakfast room. Good location Parking, although a bit cumbersome to access
Disliked: It was generally good. It’s an old building in an area very exposed to the weather so not surprisingly this showed somewhat.

Would not use again as...

Liked: Location was good and the bar and the meals at the bar was good
Disliked: Rooms too small needs a bit of loving care in the maintenance getting to the room could be a issue for people with mobility issues and lacked the little things you would expect for the price like bedside lights wallpaper not peeling away and mould in the shower tray

Liked: Perfect location. Very friendly and helpful staff
Disliked: Overpriced. Beautiful reception area. Our first room was very clean and well set up but wallpaper starting to lift. But it was up two flights of stairs one very narrow and down a long narrow hall. However the receptionist kindly moved us to a newly renovated room on the street which was great but no outlook and no wifi. All would be exceptable if it wasn’t by far the most expensive room we booked on our trip to Orkney.

Liked: It was authentic, decor was in keeping with what I expected The staff were lovely and made sure we had a breakfast to take with us as we were on the early ferry
Disliked: The bathroom was an awkward size , the door to the bathroom basically was in the way to use the loo !

Disliked: The room was in need off redecoration with the wallpaper and ceiling paper coming away from the walls and ceiling. The bathroom was very poor with low pressure and a loose shower head cradle.
