Liked: Superb stopover hotel with a very friendly welcome. I had forgotten to book a table in the restaurant (which was full) so Loic arranged for a table in the bar with our dog which was very comfy. Our room was large with a door onto a lawned area with access to the car park, great for taking the dog directly out. Our dog had a bed provided too. The room was very comfortable and clean with a good shower.Supper was gourmet level - we had the set menu for 33 euros each which didn't disappoint, 3 excellent courses (choices for starter and main) with some delicious wine. Obviously a very popular place with the locals as both the restaurant and bar were full on a rainy Tuesday in January. The table service was exemplary. Breakfast was a simple cold buffet but very adequate for our needs.It was the perfect last night to our 2 month trip, only an hour from Le Shuttle/Eurotunnel at Calais. Highly recommended. Disliked: It would be nice/convenient to have a kettle in the room (although I was given a pot of hot water on request)The breakfast coffee is in a thermos (and was luke warm). We think it deserves a good coffee machine of some sort to suit the quality of the other food offerings.

Great stay beats larger chains

Liked: Decently stocked bar, easy check-in, helpful staff (minor problems resolved quickly), reasonable breakfast, automatic blackout blinds on windows, bath in room. Old school minibar in room but with reasonable prices.
Disliked: Restaurant overpriced although the prices do include service and the service was great.

Liked: Comfortable room, fabulous restaurant and very friendly and helpful staff. They were exceptionally helpful and accommodating when we were delayed a full day with vehicle issues and I can’t thank them enough. Very dog friendly too.

Perfect stop over on route...

Liked: This is now the third time we’ve used this hotel for our pit stop on route to the alps from the UK. We just need somewhere comfortable to stay, and also with our cat, and this place always delivers what we need.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Dinner was excellent, I had the daily menu which was gourmet and tasty, breakfast was equally good so a superb restaurant with top quality attentive staff.My dog really liked her dog basket - perfect for her size.
Disliked: It was all superb!
