Liked: Very welcoming and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Location perfect close to the harbour

A good place to stay...

Liked: Very clean, good location, lovely host, great breakfast.
Disliked: The room I stayed in was a bit basic - but very clean and also good value so no complaints. You do need to park down the lane, but this isn’t a problem - it’s a 2min walk.

Great little B and B...

Liked: The Olive Branch was a great find on our road trip down the Devon coast to Cornwall. Our host Jo was so welcoming and provides everything you could ask for to make a perfect stay. The location is in the perfect spot to enjoy walks to the harbour and promenade as well as the local pubs and restaurants. Our room was spacious very clean, and the decor was very inviting. I loved the comfy seat at the window that offers a view to the sea, but my favourite was definitely bath tub that sits on a platform in the room. Breakfast was excellent, we had a choice of a cook to order hot dish which is served with buffet style continental options. Jo took the time to chat and gave us lots of tips for exploring Ilfracombe and the surrounding areas which was very helpful to two Australians who had not been in the area before . Disliked: We paid extra for a superior room. No shower in the room which caused us issues in the morning. There was a hand shower attachment in the bath but difficult.Large floor.to.ceiling frosted glass window separating toilet and bedroom. When the toilet light was on you had little privacy.
