Comfortable bed, excellent shower, convenient...
Liked: Excellent shower, fluffy towels, refillable shampoo/shower gel containers, comfortable bed, nice couch and very quiet. A short walk to the museums which were the reasons we stayed for 2 nights, restaurants and bars. Nice outdoor seating area by the side entrance. Interesting jungle animal wallpaper on one wall and shabby chic painted concrete floor. TV, microwave and fridge worked very well. Very quiet air con.
Disliked: We really wanted to like this more as the photos of the other rooms and exterior looked bright and lovely. The pre-arrival emails were very informative and we were notified that we would be in a different room as there was a problem with the allocated one. The oblong room we were given had a smallish window at the end overlooking the car park so we had a good view of our car and some nice foliage plants right outside the window. The coffee machine didn't work. Through messages it was suggested that we could get one from another room but we weren't sure that was a good idea to enter another room we weren't booked into. We said we were ok to use the microwave that evening to boil water (there was tea, coffee & small biscuit guest pack) and have a replacement one the next day which didn't arrive. We couldn't get the bedside light to switch off so we had to unplug them to turn them off. There was a leaking mould on a couple of the bedroom walls which we think may be a coastal salt air reaction to the breeze block cement (we live by the coast so recognise it from our breeze block garage/extension) - it can be easily wiped off and sprayed.

Don't do it!!!!
Liked: It is a cute idea.....
Disliked: There was a 10 ft ladder left out on the back patio...dirty flip flops at the front patio,The rugs were stained, the trim was peeling off the doors....And unfortunately as soon as you walk out the door you are greeted by hundreds of homeless people....who are obviously waiting for a free meal next door.....I'm not bashing the homeless...there is just no way that this can be a 5 star establishment!!!

Money over customer care
Liked: Decor was cute
Disliked: Owner not very understanding..I booked 2 nights & couldn't stay on night 2 due to hurricane hitting the island, I was without electricity night 1 & alarm continued to sound entire next day & still with out electricity so I moved to another hotel WITH electricity & the oleander still opted to charge me for a stay that I had no choice but to not complete. I feel like that is bad buisness practice, as you have the option as a owner to 1. Have a generator available for emergency. Or 2. Not charge a customer who just experienced a hurricane & was left without the services paid for I.E electricity!! I won't be returning to this location & definitely wouldn't recommend. Couldn't even open windows for air due to no screens & being on the ground floor in sketchy neighborhood..simply felt un safe to do so.
