Good version of the usual...

Liked: This is a good comfortable hotel for a stop. It has everything required for your stay including a breakfast better than the usual mass produced one, and staff are good.
Disliked: The photos on booking.com depict something smaller, more charming and more bijou than the reality- a number are from the adjacent restaurant and they fail to show that it’s actually quite a big hotel right by a freeway. That made it less great value. (PS Booking.com you shouldn’t post “free breakfast for geniuses” as a bonus when it’s free for everyone.)

Liked: Richly and stylish furnished, as this is one of the few remaining privately-owned inns in the area with historic charms, and an extremely well-maintained too!An army of friendly employees that keep the place extremely clean and tidy.We were offered a free shuttle to the nearby station (very convenient, since parking in this area of NJ is a nightmare).Extremely convenient located next to a restaurant and 287 exit.A wonderful inside court with fireplace.
Disliked: Breakfast definitely sub-par. Definitely too few sitting places in comparison to the size of the hotel.Proximity to the 287 is a double-edge sword, since outward facing rooms tend to be pretty noisy from traffic.

I like the Old Mill...

Liked: Breakfast was very nice.Accommodations were beautiful, as always.Staff was pleasant, friendly and helpful.Check in and check out seemless.
Disliked: Bathroom floor was dirty, so I covered it with a large towel.Toilet in room 238 needs a plumber. The seal from the tank is leaking and, therefore, runs all night.Walls are thin. The children in the next room carried on all night. Where were their parents?
