Liked: The staff were so helpful and kind, and the food was excellent! I adored my breakfasts both mornings, and the pork belly I got the second night was fantastic. I enjoyed my room a lot too – it was the perfect size for one person. It's always a little nerve-racking turning up as a solo traveler (particularly as a young woman), but I couldn't have felt safer and more at ease the entire time. I'm a history nerd too, so staying in such an old place was a big bonus for me.Again though – the biggest shout-out and thanks to the staff! I would definitely stay here again.

Liked: Such a cosy country pub, and lovely bedroom.Such friendly staff especially in the morning serving our breakfast such a happy and helpful young lady.Very dog friendly felt really comfortable having them with us.

Liked: I loved the quirkiness of the property. It’s a 14th century building full of character. The location is fantastic. Very close to Tintagel Castle in the Main Street of town
