Comfortable and Great location

Liked: The property is in a good location close to amenities, visitor attractions and lovely walks. Good choices at breakfast and friendly staff. We stayed in the garden suite it was spacious, comfortable and perfect for a family stay.

Liked: Super friendly staff, extremely cosy rooms, the house has so much charm we were delighted to stay there. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and we will for sure come back if we can.

Very nice and great location...

Liked: Location was excellent. Small but nice room. The breakfast was very good, but could have done with another tea/coffee.
Disliked: The heating never came on properly, but we were given a plug in heater.Biscuits weren’t very nice in room, cash and carry cheap ones, should be more luxury ones. Towels for shower, were more like hand towels.

We visit at least twice...

Liked: Pub is incredibly old and we love the quirkiness of the overall building. Staff are great and always remember us .Food is great including breakfast which is included in your stay.Well kept cellar with obvious clean pipes as all beers, lagers & ciders are good and taste as they should.Staff are a real credit to this pub.Rooms are all great having stayed in at least 5 of the rooms.
