Hotel Description
The Old Vicarage Hotel & Restaurant is one of the oldest buildings in Bridgwater with some parts dating back to the 14th century. The property has undergone extensive renovations to the oldest parts of the property including 9 of the bedrooms in 2019. The bar and restaurant serves lunch evening meals and we offer all our guest a continental breakfast buffet with home-cooked traditional as well. Located in the heart of the town center there is a garden and patio area where guests can enjoy their morning coffee lunch or a drink. Just off of the M5 at Junction 24 the hotel is close to many attractions such as Cheddar Gorge Quantock Hills Glastonbury Wells Wookey Hole and the city of Bristol.

We really enjoyed our stay.

Liked: Staff extremely friendly. Big bathroom. Great shower. Spacious room. Excellent evening meal.
Disliked: Sadly Bridgewater is a very neglected town. A small point but the breakfast sausages were a little anaemic and didn’t feel good quality(nice bacon though).

Liked: Unique and charming.. Beautiful old vicarage. Great location, right in the heart of town. Lovely staff and owners, very hospitable. Just a lovely place to stay..

Friendly staff, quirky building full...

Liked: Lovely location opposite the church, with parking. The room was well appointed and comfortable. Breakfast was generally good but lacked advertised black pudding, and the sausages were a little underdone.
