Comfortable no fuss excellence

Liked: The owner was superb in sorting out my booking and Andy who met me was very friendly and explained and showed me the facilities that was both courteous and considerate
Disliked: Self contained dining and room which you could access easily and without fuss and I found the room comfortable and well laid out

Nice room but location in...

Liked: Room was spacious and had a dedicated work area
Disliked: Location of room was right by the main road meaning the only way to have privacy was to close the curtains or shutter but that blocked any natural light out from by the work area. The other problem was the lack of soundproofing in the room meant you heard every conversation of people walking past and all the traffic noise meaning my sllep was disrupted.

The accommodation suited my needs...

Liked: Breakfast was self service and adequate. Host was friendly.
Disliked: Bed wasn't particularly comfortable. Mattress was hard and bed creaked with slightest movement.

A welcome comfortable break after...

Liked: What a lovely guest house, so easy to get into Bristol and yet situated out of the hustle - a field of cows for my morning view! Really comfortable room & bed. The host was super friendly and generous.

Liked: Room was clean and comfortable. Serve yourself breakfast was appreciated. Staff were friendly and welcoming.
Disliked: We stayed for three nights and the room was a bit cramped for our purposes. Bathroom light was on a sensor switch so went on when you entered. This sounds like a good idea but was impractical as it flooded the whole room with light each time the bathroom was used at night, waking other occupants. Hotel is located on a busy road and turning into the driveway was tricky. However it was still an enjoyable stay.
