Lovely place to stay in...

Liked: Clean, stylish decor; quiet and relaxing space in a historic building. Very comfortable room with ensuite, and excellent breakfast.

Excellent room and first class...

Liked: Lisa is a cheerful, friendly and excellent host. Our room was warm and comfortable with lots of thoughtful touches. USB ports, sockets near mirror (for the hairdryer) and a handy little extension socket tower on the dressing table. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was warm with lovely toiletries. The breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and first class products. The only small thing we would mention was the bedroom door rattled every time somebody opened or closed another door in the corridor. It didn’t disturb our sleep as by then the hotel was quiet. We should have mentioned it at the time but we’d had such a pleasant stay it slipped our mind.We came to The Old School Rooms to meet up with friends, we enjoyed a chat and catch-up in the lounge before we went out for dinner. The location suited us perfectly, a bus ride into Cambridge and bus-stops just outside.
Disliked: The rattling bedroom door
