A lovely old building close...

Liked: The Old Rectory is located in the old town, nice welcome from the staff on my arrival. Room was at the top of the building and was pleasant. Lovely garden to wonder around and sit in. Breakfast was ok a good selection to choose from.
Disliked: I had a nice room but the bathroom ceiling needed attention as there was peeling paint from the condensation. Also poor lighting for shaving etc. There was an issue with getting into the building after an evening out, the emergency contact number was not connected. The matter was resolved however i felt disappointed.

Liked: Everything was wonderful. Lovely building, beautifully and tastefully refurbished, with a gorgeous garden. Set on a historic street leading down to the sea and close by an historic church of some significance. Warm welcoming atmosphere with lovely staff - delicious fresh breakfasts. A treasure of a place.

A hidden gem close to...

Liked: A really cosy hotel. We loved the garden and the spacy living room. Great breakfast, nice and serviceminded staff. It was quiet and peaceful, and felt like a home away from home.
Disliked: Everything was perfect for us.
