Inside No. 7

Liked: The hotel has character and the staff were attentive. The room was clean and spacious, the shower room was a surprise (a wet room!) and the breakfast menu was great.We were visiting family, but as the train station is just down the road, the hotel is a great base to visit Bristol or Bath without using the car. Anyone wanting this recommended eaves room must ask for Room 7.Would we come again? Yes.
Disliked: Personally I found the bed a wee bit uncomfortable....but my wife did not agree. So that's down to opinion.

Beautiful building but needs some...

Liked: It is a beautiful old building but furnishings, carpets and decor are very old and dated. We book a double superior room with en-suite. Pillow cases and towels were only provided for one person. Also only one cup provided for tea/ coffee. Regardless of whether the room was occupied by one or two persons it felt half made. Windows could not be opened. Lack of privacy in the bathroom. Bathroom and shower was overlooked by houses at the back as the obscure film on the glass was pealing off and shutters wouldn’t shut. Receptionist was not available when needed. We had difficulty opening the door to our room in the evening. We had an evening meal at the hotel which was excellent.
Disliked: Receptionist was not available when needed to address any issues. Beautiful building but in need of some TLC.

Comfortable stay

Liked: Breakfast and dinner were fantastic, if you stay please make sure to use the restaurant. Rooms are very tidy and comfortable. Gardens are fantastic

A pleasant stay with very...

Liked: Good location, food (evening meal and breakfast) was very good, and staff were very helpful.
Disliked: The room (above the kitchen) was small, the bed a little uncomfortable, and the TV signal kept cutting out. BUT it was the last room available, and the value for money was fine, esp as B&B.
