Liked: Stunning old property full of character directly facing the cathedral.I loved the location and the huge lit fireplace super quaint and cosy - Molton brown toiletries were a hit and such warm and friendly staff. Breakfast was hands down the best I’ve ever had and I would say I’m well travelled I just loved the concept and quirky ness!

Liked: Excellent spot from which to explore Ripon, the Cathedral and the local area. Lovely room. Friendly staff. Amazing breakfast.
Disliked: All good.

Amazing hotel

Liked: Everything. The location was perfect. A stone's throw from the cathedral. The building exterior and interior which was both rustic and elegant. The fact that they allow pets (at a small surcharge), our 2 excitable dogs were made to feel very welcome. Nespresso coffee machine in the room in addition to a kettle. Quiet room, comfortable bed. The biggest surprise though was breakfast. It was out of this world. Like eating in a Michelin Star restaurant, no exaggeration. Whatever you do, don't miss it. The staff were really friendly too. All this for a very reasonable rate given it was a last minute booking on a Friday evening.
Disliked: I am being really picky now, but the shower could have been a bit more powerful. Wifi reception could also do with a boost. None of this ruined our stay though.We wanted to stay another night but unfortunately they were fully booked :(
