A lovely three day break...

Liked: Very friendly welcome by two genuine people.Clean comfortable rooms.Delicious breakfast accompanied by my choice of music!Pretty village with two excellent pubs within walking distance.
Disliked: No major issues with our stay.Parking is in a public car park 100 metres from the Bake House.

Liked: Steve is a fantastic host, so welcoming, down to earth and very helpful! Breakfast with Ann in the morning was excellent. I would love to come back, fantastic little gem in a beautiful part of the world.
Disliked: Nothing - everything was great!

Liked: Excellent Breakfast , Lovely Central Location , Owners were lovely and very helpful. Pubs , Food and Galleries on the doorstep... a fantastic base to explore East Devon

A wonderful stay

Liked: The owners were absolutely lovely and couldn't have been more helpful (went above and beyond). Lovely old building, the room was lovely, bed and pillows super comfortable and bathroom clean and well facilitated. Great view out the windows and close to shops in Colyton. Breakfast was fab and didn't mind ordering the day before in advance.
Disliked: Nothing, it was all lovely.

Liked: Lovely historic building, a wonderfully comfortable room (with eco friendly products in the en-suite), delicious breakfast made with locally sourced ingredients, warm hospitality.

Definitely worth a trip

Liked: Every bit of our stay was fantastic. Steven, our host, went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely be our first choice if we decide to return bk to devon. Highly recommended

Exceptional

Liked: Fiona and Steve were the nicest hosts you could ever meet. Nothing was too much trouble! The property is so tastefully decorated and is so charming. It is spotlessly clean and room 3 was perfect for our needs in every way. This has to be the nicest and best B&B we have ever stayed in!!! As for the breakfast, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, whole kippers, as well as the usual fayre, it was a pure delight. As I've already mentioned Fiona and Steve would bend over backwards to ensure that our stay was both comfortable and enjoyable! Would we stay here again? YES we would without a second thought!!

Liked: Fantastic place! Really friendly hosts, great food made with quality ingredients, lovely comfortable rooms and lots of vinyl to play at breakfast! What more could anyone ask for?
