Liked: Great food & great staff
Disliked: We didn’t know what to expect staying in a pub, the staff were amazing & very accommodating & the room was lovely, but unfortunately it was very noisy in our room. We must have been right above the bar area & could hear everything happening downstairs until about 0030. There must be no soundproofing at all. We could hear everything. This is to be expected I guess staying in a pub, however on the next morning just after 7am, a dog came bounding down the hallway past our room & then music was playing at 7:15am. So unfortunately we didn’t get to sleep until late & then was awoken very early. Can’t fault the staff or the location/facilities & I’m not sure if this has been mentioned before but unfortunately it did really affect our stay.

Awesome vale for money stay...

Liked: Very good value for money. Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. Plenty of choice between Indian and English cuisine plus large portions; albeit the curries were a bit spicy.
Disliked: 2nd bed in the family room needs replacing. Rather soft.

Liked: Every thing was amazing nothing was to much for any of the staff

Ideallic location for Alton Towers

Liked: We stayed in one of the family rooms, which was absolutely perfect, cosy and very recently decorated beautifully. The hosts were most accommodating in finding us a table for dinner as we hadn’t booked and both dinner and breakfast we delicious. Really lovely family run accommodation
