The Oasis Resort, Palm Springs

Clean and decent stay but...

Liked: -unit 5B was quite spacious-free parking for one vehicle-residence was quite sprawling and decently kept for an older property (think it said estab in the '70's)-property seemed quietish - altho the front desk mentioned this was the beginning of the peak season when we stayed in early Nov-had full kitchen--including gas stove, toaster, blender (which I've never encountered), full size fridge, dishwasher, lots of cutlery/dishes for 3 of us-had washer and dryer in suite-2 cruiser bikes in the garage to use-Starbucks, McDonald's and TJ Max and grocery store w/in 5 min drive
Disliked: -blinds in the bedroom and front room where the murphy/ pull out bed were, let in a LOT of light to prevent proper rest for light-sensitive guests (definitely no availability for black-out conditions)-for a decent sized unit, the washroom was quite small/tight and did not have a tub for those that care-on plane route/ noise-washer was quite small and both washer and dryer were VERY noisy so if you are hoping to do wash overnight, it would definitely impede sleep for those on the murphy bed as it is 6ft or so away on the same side of the wall. Also laundry supplies have to be purchased or bring your own. I think the pods were reasonable ($1 for 2?). Did not see laundry softener/ sheets available, but didn't look closely.-unit 5B is on the 2nd flr for those that have mobility issues as there were 2 flights of stairs.-parking spot is near the end of the unit and can be quite tight/ more difficult to manuever especially in the dark if there is someone in the spot beside you as the other side is a partial wall. -not close to downtown if you don't have a car and want to have more amenities / social atmosphere-seemed a little pricey for the time that we stayed, but we booked as others said it was clean and that matters to us!

Girlfriends Reunion was perfect!

Liked: Perfect and warm place to chatter and lounge in the swimming pools and hot tubs all day! Comfortable beds at night!
Disliked: Nothing!

Poor show on shampoo.

Liked: The room was well laid out and comfortable.
Disliked: No shampoo supplied in room, you have to buy it from reception. Last thing you need after a long flight. No communication between staff, there was an issue with the safe and it was such a palaver to get anything done, wasting a lot of our time.

Liked: The studio was clean, well maintained and comfortable.It was free of clutter with plenty of space for your belongings.There was an outside area with a table and chairs. The pool area was close by.
Disliked: My downstairs studio was noisy. I could hear my upstairs neighbours talking and walking around as if they were in the next room. Check in time is 4:00 pm, but when I arrived a little after 4 the room still wasn't ready. There was no information beforehand on how to access the property which is a gated community.Overall they don't seem adequately staffed or set up to function as a hotel for overnight stays. Would be a better option for extended stays.

The property was in excellent...

Liked: The room was comfortable, easy to locate and very clean. The property was in excellent condition and the pool areas were exceptionally well maintained. The game room was comfortable and fun to use.
Disliked: Better variety of food options and local places of interest options.

Excellent and very clean

Liked: Very nice, quiet and well done place for couples and families. For a long time I didn’t been satisfied from the room/apt cleaning such as in this hotel. Thank you for this. I’m sorry that we stayed only one night.
