Fair accommodation and location

Liked: Sizeable accommodation with good range of equipment. Five minute drive from supermarkets. Situated close to A1.
Disliked: One of the reasons we booked this property was the presence of a pool. Therefore very disappointed to note that it was closed for maintenance. Pre-arrival advice stated that reception was open until 19:00. It wasn’t - despite our repeated attempts at using intercom we had no reply. Had to use 24 hour arrival system to collect tag for room. Messages, in form of emails, about arrival were received after our check-in. We have used digital keys throughout our trip in Australia - to date all the others have done this well. Suggest pre-arrival communications are improved to notify customers about (1) the pool & (2) check in. The photos employed of a bar & restaurant relate to a separate business - not the motel.
