Liked: We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay and were reluctant to leave. It was cosy and comfortable and the food was cooked to perfection. I have already recommended this property to friends. It was an ideal location to visit Cragside ( the reason for staying here). One of the best places we have stayed.
Disliked: There was nothing we didn’t like about the property.

Liked: We travelled by motorcycle on our Northumberland 250 trip and the hotel were kind enough to let me park the bike securely around the back and not in the main car park across the road. I very much appriciated this.The staff, room and food were all exceptional.

Liked: The breakfast was really something special and truly creative.the welcome was the best on our entire road trip, excellent smiley staff, took our cases up to the room. Excellent food in the evening. Wood fires.2 nights prior we stayed at Gleneagles which was top notch. But we actually preferred this place and I cannot really explain why.
Disliked: We could not fault it. I suppose that once one is "won over" everything seems good.cases up to the room, straight down to the cozy bar and a pint of very well kept real ale. We were in good hands.
