Perfection for a place so...

Liked: Everyone was very polite, the setting was relaxed, plenty of choice at breakfast, only £2 for a pint of Pepsi which is cheaper than nearly anywhere these days, bed was comfortable, room was clean. Just overall no complaints anywhere. Less than 5 mile to Old Trafford so that was very handy and you're less than 4 miles from the Motorway

A different mattress would've completely...

Liked: The hotel was situated well for what we needed, it was away from any bars etc that could cause disruption. The hotel itself, including the room was really nice and modern. Had a nice bar and we could help ourselves to tea and coffee, I actually preferred that it wasn't in the room.There's also a pool table available.The staff were friendly, made sure we were well informed and made sure we didn't forget to sort parking which is available on site at a fee.Everything seemed clean, room had plenty of light or lamp choices, hairdryer, and soap. The pillows were nice and fluffy.
Disliked: The main thing was that the bed wasn't the most comfortable. It was quite firm but at the same time like it was missing filling, like I could feel the odd lump and bump. My partner disagrees with the lump and bump comment but had a terrible night's sleep because he found the matress so hard.You can easily hear things from outside of the room such as other people's doors closing and I was awoken in the early hours by some men talking/some commotion.Although parking is available i would've thought it would've been free with it being solely for the hotel or would've even preferred it was already included in the price as I searched for the best price in comparison to other places and checked out only to discover I was going to have to pay another £10 on top for parking.Final thing which I'm not sure can be helped was that shower pressure (and taps) fluctuates which on its own wouldn't be a problem as it was still a good pressure, but when this happens the water was going very very hot!Overall for us it was the matress causing my partner such a poor night's sleep (especially when we had to travel the next day and an early start) that hindered this score as I think the other bits are just things that can happen at hotels and the hotel really was lovely. (Although I do wonder if more could be done to block outside sound from hallways as this did seem a lot louder/clearer than I've noticed in any other hotels)
