Disliked: Charged the full amount upon arrival, I have never had to pay up front in any hotel I’ve stayed in before, I stay in hotels every 2/3 weeksThe aircon has a lock on it so you can’t change the temperature when I told the staff I was told to open a window, but the road traffic is so busy and noisy The music was too loudPaying €15 per day to park on the street (not secure) is ridiculous, every evening when we returned from working there was no parking spaces leftThe sink in the bathroom is cracked,

It was ok for one...

Liked: Very friendly staff, quiet rooms, late check out, very clean rooms
Disliked: The bed was way too soft, parking is very limited, very limited food choices at the restaurant, no other restaurants close by

Good value for one night...

Liked: Modern hotel with all expected facilities . Friendly staff , great breakfast and good value .
Disliked: Parking is only on the local streets around the hotel , which took some time to find a space .

Nice but very expensive

Liked: Nice new hotel, very clean room. Really nice staff.
Disliked: View from my room was of next-door office block only a few metres away. Not much food choice available in the evening. Very expensive as prices are jacked right up for Essen fair.
