Liked: Location was superb and staff wonderful. Food in hotel was excellent and the food credit allowed flexibility in dining and drinks. Rooms were exceptionally clean and spacious.
Disliked: Check in and lobby were not on the ground floor.

Disliked: The charcuterie board was below par, a few slices of sausage and 2 pieces of burned black toast for $24. There was a dirty cleaning rag left in our bathroom, as well as a long red hair on the glasses. My wife and I are blonde

Mixed feelings

Liked: Great location in the center of Portland (but lots of homeless people and people using drugs out in the open in front). Beautiful decoration, very modern and tasteful. The room was really pretty and nice art throughout the hotel.
Disliked: Arrival and entrance were a big disappointment. There was no way to park the car in front of the hotel as there are only 3 or 4 spots which were taken. So, we couldn't even drop our suitcases and had to park a few blocks away. Also, the hotel has no lobby, only a tiny hallway with an elevator. You have to go to the 8th floor and through corridors to find the lobby where the one woman behind the counter took all the time in the world to explain to other guests all the restaurants in town, while there was a concierge for that who had nothing to do... Also, the area outside the hotel has a lot of homeless people and people using drugs out in the open.
