Liked: Great location.
Disliked: Filthy & run down. Bathroom door didn’t close. Toilet wouldn’t flush properly. Shower mouldy so didn’t use it. Carpet had holes in and was filthy. Walls were filthy and damaged.

fantastic and clean, couldn't fault...

Liked: it was the first time of having a trip on my own. the staff was brilliant and made me feel welcome.the room was very clean and even in an attic room there were able to sleep 5. 2 double beds and a camp bed. plenty of tea, coffee, sugar and even loads of milk ( which usually you're always short off). the room. was already warm with heating on and the beds clean and very comfy. could not fault my stay at all.
Disliked: tbh nothing i did not like, and I'm the type of person to say if there was. only thing I found hard was booking taxis which isn't to do with the hotel but to just keep in mind if visiting the area.

Not much was good about...

Liked: Pet friendly. Catered for the whole family (parents and 2 older teens: 1 adult, 1 minor).
Disliked: Bathroom sink tap had no hot water (but the shower did), the tiles in the bathroom were wonky, as was the flooring throughout. Low beam ceilings meant ducking and crouching around the room. No bathroom mirror. There was an unlocked hatch-door access to a loft crawlspace which was filthy and looked like some dirty items of clothing had been discarded in there. The single bed was unusable - so soft it sank to the floor when sat upon. The main room had a radiator, but the adjoining room had no radiator/heat source. The velux window in the main room didn’t shut properly and allowed in a draft and street noise. The televisions did not work.Having said that, the beds/bedding were clean and I didn’t spot any signs of mould or damp, which was its saving grace or we would have left.

Functional and comfy

Liked: Room was basic but spotless and bed comfy. Wasn't expecting much as it's cheap. It was functional. Also, the locals in the bar are absolute stars! I'm booked here again next month and am happy to be returning

Would stay again if visiting...

Liked: Staff were friendly and polite, clean and tidy. Venue we were attending was less than 5 min walk so handy for my partner.

Disliked: Room2Stunk of poo, dirty bed sheets ,kettle cracked and full of lime scale, I found glass on the floor and the remote control for the tv only had 1 battery in it plus a sharp screw coming out the door That tore my shirt!Room 5 dirty towels holes in the wall holes in the carpet and a motor/pump under the sink not covered up and the shower has tape in it to hold the dile in So me and my friend were not happy with this hotel
