Won't stay there again

Liked: The location was great.
Disliked: We stayed here before, but this time, we were very disappointed. The room wasn't kept up well walls were dirty, floor did not appear clean (stains) there was no AC, the microwave kept tripping the outlets. Upon check in the staff was unfriendly and informed us the AC was out and apparently it had been for 2 days prior. They did not offer fans, told us it would be on later that night and they could offer a "discount." They could not tell me how much the discount would be or show me a receipt for this, I did receive a discount via booking.com 24 after check out. Once we arrived to the room we realized it wasn't the room we booked (we booked a harbour view and a king suite with 2 twin beds in the 2nd bedroom). We didn't have a view and there were no twin beds. I went to ask to be moved to the room we booked and was told that was all they had available even though I booked this 6 months ago. The person at the front desk told me that it was based on "availability." I showed her my reservation and she said well you don't have to stay here and that was all they had. Then I decided to get a drink could not find an ice machine and was told to get ice from the restaurant. I waited 10 minutes for someone to help before giving up because no one appeared to be working in there even though it was after 5pm. If it wasn't for the location and meeting several family members there for the weekend we would have left.

Liked: Staff was super friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean and smelled nice. Updated interiors. A great location, I would definitely stay here again.

Whole apartment

Liked: Great location in Coconut Grove, on a walking distance from Coco Walk and the park.Big apartment with full kitchen, living room, a balcony and bedroom. Room 305.Stuff is great. I was evacuating from Tampa during Milton hurricane, with a cat. Perfect for pets
Disliked: A little worn out furniture, but very comfortable. Bad internet. I was not able to connect Apple TV

Liked: Convenient location and spacious accommodation.
Disliked: Very poor wifi, very intermittent and restaurant/ bar closed on monday

Great value stay

Liked: I love the location of this hotel, the gym has a Peloton bike and the pool is relaxing. The room has a washer and drier, well stocked kitchenette and big bathroom.
Disliked: The supply of shampoo and soap was inadequate, we ran out after one shower. The drier didn't work well and the ironing board was broken.

We love the Grove!

Liked: Love the kitchenette, comfy bed, pool area is great for lounging and the staff were very nice and helpful.
Disliked: Ice access without bothering the front desk would be helpful.
