Beautiful food in Crieff

Liked: Food was beautifully cooked and presented. Dining area was bit chilly.could do with few more heaters.Staff were such a good bunch.very helpful. Lady on reception from abroad was so helpful she even looked up bus and train times for us
Disliked: Our room was v cold on 1st day cleaner had left windows open and heating off. Once same lady sorted it later on that night it was v cosy. V relaxing weekend

Liked: Lovely old building. Clean and comfortable. What makes it so special is the staff, so welcoming and friendly. Our dog was welcome too, bed, dishes and treats.

Exceptional

Peaceful location, lovely staff.

Liked: Peaceful location, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, clean warm room, helpful staff. Good choice of breakfast food. Restaurant food good. Loved the relaxing lounge bar with log burner. Access to pool facilities at Hydro a bonus.
Disliked: The standard addition of 10% service fee to the restuarant bill. Prefer to have the choice of whether and how much to tip. Was disappointed there was no table in room, especially as friends room next door which cost exactly the same did have one. . Chairs in room uncomfortable as seat cushions were old/inadequate.

Liked: I had booked a twin room for my son and I but on arrival the room was made up as a double. Credit to the hotel staff who were incredibly apologetic and offered us a free upgrade to a double room with annexe.Comfortable room, spotlessly clean.Lovely breakfast with excellent service.
