Liked: The location is excellent. The staff are friendly. Hot food at breakfast would be better. The bathroom was tired and the shower needed a good clean/descale. The building felt secure and safe. It was good the towels were changed daily, but no toiletries or hairdryer were provided.
Disliked: The shower. Needs an upgrade/clean. The screen is too small, everywhere got wet.

i would like to know...

Liked: The rooms were extremely small, we could barely move and was told that the standard rooms are all the same, the bed was on wheels and kept moving the entire night and i had to put my suitcase to hold it, They had the breakfast with only bacon and port sausage and could not accommodate us so we only had breakfast on the first morning which was chicken cold meatthey also said they couldn't refund the breakfast, and we must contact booking.com

Liked: Our bed sagging in the middle Shower small and couldn’t turn it on and off easily

Basic and dated

Liked: Hotel is well located for Sefton Park and Lark Lane but it’s very tired and dated. Staff were nice enough but not always around. Lack on investment in basic stuff (mattress, pillows etc) didn’t make it comfy and the single glazed windows allows a lot of road noise etc. the breakfast was basic. Was odd that we paid on arrival and also had to have £50 blocked for damage. Wouldn’t use again
