Disliked: We were staying in room 11. On arrival we found that we had no hot water to have a shower or bath or sink wash. We reported to reception who said it would be the pressure at that part of the building and would sort it whilst we were out to dinner. When we came back it was not sorted but did come back good in the money. The curtains were very thin. You could see the adapted church opposite lights clearly in the room, which made sleeping difficult (a sleeping mask was needed)The walls were not soundproof in this room and so whatever was going on in the next roomCould be clearly heard. When the door was left a jar to the room for any length of time an alarm sounded. Which was heard quite a lot from our neighbouring room early in the morning.Not a great night sleep on either of the 2 nights we stayed.

Liked: Staff were all friendly, very helpful and lovely. My bedroom was very clean, my bed was comfortable, soft towels and plenty of them, my room was a good size. I was able to walk to where I wanted to go so a great location too.

Liked: Free WiFi was good and the room was clean, sheets and the duvet were nice and comfy, just a shame about the bed that they were placed on.
Disliked: High expectations after reading some of the reviews and looking at the pictures. To be greeted with a bed that the mattress springs dug into you, there was no mirror in the room which meant it was difficult to get ready but there was a lovely mirror in the bathroom just no plug that would reach this. I was placed on a timer for showers and out of this bracket (morning) you had to have a cold shower, the shower cubicle was tiny and didn’t fit the shower tray.
