Liked: Friendly staff. Excellent restaurant.
Disliked: Shower over the bath - would have preferred a walk-in shower.

Liked: The rooms were lovely and the beds very comfortable. Very quiet. Well worth the stay.
Disliked: The meals in the restaurant were a little small. We had to wait an hour for food when we were the only people in! The side orders were cold and overcooked.

I stayed here for two nights in December 2010 - found the room okay but could have done with an update and the television was a small portable that was disappointing - On the whole not very good value for money

Great property would highly recommend
Liked: It's a lovely hotel that I like to stay at. It's in a great location and would highly recommend it.
Disliked: I have stayed on many occasions which speaks for itself, if there was something that I didn't like then I wouldn't stay.

Pleasant
Liked: Good gym even if it only opens at 0700 and you have to fill out a very detailed medical history before you can use it.
Disliked: For the money it lacks the amenities of other hotels. No air conditioning, no fridge in the room etc. Also the rooms are quite cramped and lacking much sound insulation. I also never understand why some hotels only open their gym at 0700. Way too late to use before heading out to work

Faded grandeur aside, probably get...
Liked: The old house gives it style. All hoteliers are struggling these days so I wonder how critical it’s fair to be. Staff were responsive when prompted.
Disliked: Booked a de luxe room and when I complained about having a view of a brick wall, was told it was like that because here “de luxe” means standard room. We were moved, but it’s a mystery why they put guests into rubbish rooms when better ones are available

Lovely place to stay.
Liked: I have stayed several times before when visiting family. It is one of my go to places to stay when staying in Wolverhampton. It's a known quantity with clean rooms that have all you need. This time I was travelling alone so it was essential for me to feel safe during my stay which I did. There is a well-lit car park which I needed as I was arriving when it was dark. Love that they have a restaurant on site and that room service was available. Great buffet breakfast with the option of a cooked to order meal too. Good communication with my specific requests being acknowledged and responded to.
Disliked: I am not sure if it is because I always book via Booking.com but we have never stayed in the old, charming side of the building.

Very disappointing.
Liked: Butterscotch biscuits free in room
Disliked: Food was awful - macaroni cheese. The soup for £8 was only half a bowl. Butter poor taste. Had to go downstairs to collect the bread as it was forgotten.
