Location is pretty convenient; it's valet only, but it's $57 for it. Also charges you $75 as a deposit when you check in. Nice front desk, the room is cute and has a vintage feel, but it was overpriced on here. I found the same room for much cheaper on other sites after I had already made reservations.

Liked: Great channels on the tv. Staff was attentive.
Disliked: We would have loved a bigger bed and bathroom but we knew from the beginning that was not an option.

Liked: I liked the Christmas decorations in the Hotel lobby, and the coffee room, and the complimentary coffee, between 6:30 and 9AM.
Disliked: The room was too small. They made me pay a deposit of $75,, besides what they charged. Hopefully they didn't charge more than the $345, I was supposed to pay for the room I have to check with my bank. Also there was soo much noise outside due to the Marriot workers across the street being on strike. From about 6;45 AM to 9 at night, there was a horrendous amount of noise with clanging of drums, screaming, yelling of over 50 people. Also on at least 3 nights, maids were clanging things at like 4 AM. The bathrooms were in the hall, and on at least 3 of the 7 days of my stay, the toilets were dirty, and I had to walk to toilets way down the hall to locate a decent toilet.

It’s simply fantastic.

Liked: It’s centrally located in the downtown area, just 3 minutes walk away from the Powell subway line. The staff was very warm, supportive and welcoming.
Disliked: I would say that coffee and tea hour should extend another hour, instead of 9 AM sit should closed at 10 AM.
