Disappointed..

Liked: Excellent location, large comfy bed, lovely powerful shower
Disliked: Upon booking the two nights I informed the hotel of it being my Wife's birthday. In EVERY other hotel I have stayed they would usually leave out a little token gesture gift of a muffin, chocolate or drink to make it special, however there was just a generic card which was a real disappointment as its the little touches that people remember. I stayed myself recently in Blooms down the road at half the price and they gave me a welcome beer voucher upon arrival, such a nice thought. I choose The Morgan as it looked a bit fancier for the occasion, but that was where the personality ended. We entered through the reception several times during the day and staff would not even lift their heads to say hello. Also there was a vent outside our window buzzing loudly which made it very hard to sleep. Room was pretty worn, picture art was falling apart inside.
