Lovely location but rooms could...

Liked: Property is in a fantastic location, the room we were in was nicely decorated
Disliked: The only problem we had was that there was mould in our room and in the bathroom there was mould round the windows, bottom of the shower and there was pink bits round the silicone that indicates to me that it hasn’t been cleaned properly

Good

Liked: Breakfast was plentiful, lots of choice. & availability. Staff were all great & helpful & friendlyI’m glad I went for a room with a view as it was lovely
Disliked: I had a single room & I nearly had to squeeze into the bathroom with the lack of room between the sink & door & shower cubicle, it didn’t feel comfortable. I was aware of trying not to bang the door off the shower when opening the door. There was some staining on the wall that looked perhaps like damp. I was unable to get the radiator to work adequately’ I did ask a member of staff but it still didn’t seem warm.I could also hear furniture being moved in the restaurant below my room, which was a shame

Fine for a budget stay...

Liked: For a budget hotel it is ok. It’s a lovely area and the two sea view rooms we booked did have lovely views and were ok rooms. The breakfast was nice and there are a few board games in the lounge to play. The shower had good water pressure and was hot. You could also adjust the temperature in the room on the radiator.
Disliked: The reception staff are not friendly or welcoming at all. This is the second time we have been here and had the same experience at reception both times. The slightly cheaper room we booked was top floor attic type room, strange layout of beds and view was to another wall of the building. All of that is fine but it is just unnecessarily rundown in places. Things that could easily be fixed like screw holes not properly filled in. The sink in the bathroom is sloped so if you put the soap on it it slides off. The bar is very expensive as is the restaurant so we did not eat there. Overall for the price it is ok.
