Wonderful Find in Florence!

Liked: This was our second time staying at The Moon. We had initially planned to stay in another part of Florence, however we loved The Moon so much during our first stay, we thought it would be hard to top that experience so we rebooked. The service was exceptional, the staff extremely friendly and helpful, and our room was clean and comfortable. Two major upsides to this boutique hotel — relaxing spa amenities and the most fantastic breakfast! The staff remembered us from our previous visit which made us feel even more at home.We appreciated that the hotel is located in a quieter area, away from the more touristy areas, like the Duomo. There are several nice restaurants nearby, a small supermarket, and easy access to public transportation.We hope to return to The Moon the next time we’re in Florence!
Disliked: There was absolutely no downside to staying here- we loved it! Everything was perfect during our stay.

Liked: Lovley Hotel really helpful and friendly staff at reception and in breakfast area.Excellent breakfast with an order to cook menu as well as all the fabulous cakes, fruits and savouries. The room was beautiful just like the photos with a really comfy bed. The spa was lovley to relax after a busy day sightseeing. It was within walking distance to the centre and a nice walk along the river into the city.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike at the hotel.

Fantastic boutique hotel, away from...

Liked: The staff is amazing! They were helpful with anything needed during our stay. The breakfast was also fantastic, as was the service at breakfast (especially Francois)! The hotel is new and extremely clean with housekeeping services each day of our stay. Because it is a smaller boutique hotel, it has a much cozier feeling. We enjoyed the fact that the hotel is located away from major tourist destinations, so the area is a bit quieter. There are several good restaurants nearby, where more locals than tourists enjoy dining.
Disliked: The room was a bit small for our large suitcases. If you are traveling with more luggage or for a longer period with multiple people in a room, you might consider getting a larger suite. Also there was no mini fridge in the room.

Excellent stay

Liked: Perfect hotel for a romantic get away. Facilities were outstanding and the spa area was a delight. Friendly staff.
Disliked: Location next to a tram line and quite a walk to the centre
