Liked: The staff in particular,Emma & Olaf on reception. They really did go the extra mile. They made our stay exceptional.
Disliked: Both of us were disappointed not to see staff correctly dressed wearing jackets.Somewhat disappointing for a hotel of this grade. In particular reception & dining room.

Exceptional weekend stay.

Liked: We were surprised and were upgraded to the most spectacular room! It absolutely made our weekend and felt so lucky. The room was beautiful and spacious and completely exceeded our expectations.
Disliked: The parking was limited as there was a wedding going on but the staff were very accommodating and even moved their own car so that we could park in their space!

Disliked: We arrived in late afternoon and there was no one at check in - in fact we were actually ignored by the staff setting up dinner. Felt a bit odd.

Liked: From the moment you walk through the door you are made so welcome and then looked after really well throughout your stay. All the staff were exceptionally well trained and the service very professional but at the same time personal. They want you to enjoy your stay and there were so many little extra touches; homemade flapjack in the rooms, bottles of water and apples for your journey home.

Lovely Short Break with Dogs!

Liked: The staff were very accommodating with our 2 dogs especially the 11yo Goldie. On the second day we were kindly upgraded to a terrace suite with a HUGE bathroom, all on 1 level.
Disliked: The optional cooked breakfast. Shame as the quality was just not good enough- if it's offered to guests as an extra, the quality ought to be in keeping with everything else.
