Liked: The breakfast was well cooked and plenty of it very generous with the smoked salmon the restaurant had fantastic views and staff excellent the yogurt was very creamy and food was excellent quality

Wonderfull mid Devon winter escape.

Liked: accommodating receptionist's helped us change our original booking to a lodge without it being a problem.Really happy friendly a warm reception. Amazing value for all the facilities and the lodge had a lovely Scandinavian vibe it was spotlessly clean , practical as I. well stocked kitchen utensils ,luxury thick carpets up the stairs and in bedrooms and great little hot tub. The little woods around the place was lovely too. Private and not overlooked.
Disliked: waiting half hour for food at the hub when about to faint from hunger. That I wasn't informed of the main hydro pool not working this is why I changed booking to lodge with hot tub.

Disliked: Manor Deluxe room (room shown in photos on the website)Unfortunately not overly deluxe, slightly tired and bathroom in need of updating.

Liked: Very well maintained and looked after the most comfortable bed I’ve slept on staff very professional
Disliked: Breakfast a little expensive and didn’t get everything listed on menu however the evening meal was lovely

Liked: Lovely festive afternoon tea in the manor house in front of the open fire. Big christmas tree in the hall We had a room in the manor house which was lovely, quiet and clean though bit too hot!
Disliked: The changing rooms in the swimming pool area need updating. No shower gel shampoo etc
