Liked: Lovely historic building, convenient for the motorway and yet very quiet and pretty location. Super friendly staff. Great comfy bed with nice linen. Super food. Breakfast in a beautiful airy room with lovely view of the canal.
Disliked: Everything was good.

Passable

Liked: The friendliness and efficiency of all the staff and the location of the hotel.
Disliked: The bedroom ( superior one ) was so dark and dismal , we found it completely depressing.The dark teal colour wasn't too bad at check in, 3pm, but one the daylight went it was like being in a cell, not helped by insufficient lighting.
