Liked: Great location. Hotel was gated, so car was kept safe. All the staff were very friendly and personable. Good value for money with a good choice of breakfast available.

Liked: Lovely hotel with parking right in the heart of York. Really good valuable for money staff very friendly and the hotel well maintained. The breakfast was delicious and there was a wide range of options available.

The perfect hotel for a...

Liked: All the hotel staff were wonderful. Our welcome at Reception was warm and friendly, and we were made to feel valued guests throughout our stay by the entire receptionist team. The dining staff were also excellent, helpful and efficient, and the breakfasts were superb. The room staff kept us well supplied with refreshments throughout, and overall our room and en-suite were perfect for us. We were visiting York for the first time, and the Minster Hotel proved to be the perfect place to stay while exploring the city.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike.

Liked: Great location, very near to the town , nice easy walk, breakfast was very good, staff were very friendly. Coffee and tea in the room
Disliked: Room was quite dated , bed was not made during our stay , had to have a cup replaced as a large crack was in the one left for us, Not told of the parking charge until we had completed the booking and had to pay when we checked in. For the price we paid . had expected more

Incredibly friendly staff and fantastic...

Liked: The location is excellent with a short walk in to the city centre and all of its amazing attractions. There is private parking.The room was spacious, with comfortable seating and had good tea and coffee options with tasty biscuits. There was plenty of hot water and fluffy towels. The shower was a very good size too.Breakfast was exceptional with an excellent choice, all served by incredibly friendly and helpful staff. All of the staff, including the reception, were engaging and super friendly and we have booked again.
Disliked: The bedroom is a little dated, with a torn curtain and marginally uncomfortable beds. However, the hotel is undergoing a refurbishment programme.
