room damp - refused to...

Disliked: Booked this for a colleague. Room was in a poor state of repair and so damp with the wallpaper starting to peel off that he wouldn't stay in it. I am still waiting for a refund. Booking.com were unable to offer a full refund as the owners would not agree. Unfortunately there was no option to rate this property a zero or I would have done so. In my ten years of making company travel bookings , this is the only property a colleague has refused to stay in.

Liked: Comfortable room,dog friendly,lovely bar(although see comments below), food good. Lovely location.
Disliked: EV charger not working,great that you’ve got one since we were last here but not much good if it doesn’t work. We had to drive to Tintagel to get the car charged.The large screen in the dining area,and the small one in the bar add nothing,in fact rather spoil the cosiness of the bar which was our favourite thing about the hotel. And we loved the old rickety pool table,the big new one you’ve got in the dining area looks incongruous.
