Liked: Beautiful hotel and perfect location. Would definately return.

Contemporary meets history in central...

Liked: Location ambience and stunning glass atrium with huge trees
Disliked: Nothing to complain about. Decaff teabags in room and larger dressing gowns would be great

Nice stay, nice surroundings, nice...

Liked: Staff were lovely. Loved the reception area, very relaxing and nice to sit for a drink. Nice breakfast - good choice. Nice room, nice toiletries. Spa was nice to have though you have to book to use the pool. Nice!
Disliked: Parking- parked at NCP Central. Given instructions before arrival which were not quite correct. Downloaded app etc but didn’t take the code, couldn’t do auto pay ( not been in action since 2023 apparently ) Cut a long story short couldn’t pay on arrival so paid on departure. Still within the 24 hours stay, charged £40.20 ( a random amount and not that stated on the machine which was less). Entered hotel Promo code which wouldn’t work so had to pay full amount. Rang hotel who told me to ring NCP who refunded the extra amount charged but not the rest with the promo code to get the hotel discount. Said I should have rang when I had issues on arrival. Disappointing and upsetting after a nice stay. Bar is expensive but sort of expected that. Spa pool is very small. Would be nice to have tea and coffee delivered on arrival at breakfast table - a pot left on your table.

Great but short

Liked: Breakfast was adequate the room and location were superb the staff and atmosphere were fantastic
Disliked: Breakfast had plenty of choice but similar quality to a Premier Inn. Buffet breakfast is the norm now, table service is much better.
