Liked: The building was amazing, a really nice warm feeling to the place.
Disliked: There was damp black mould on the windows with had a strong smell.Also, we asked for parking and were told there was parking, when we got there the car park was packed.

Superb

Functional but not luxurious

Liked: Lottie on reception was fabulous! The room was clean if a little dated, and the hotel is perfectly located for the centre of Bradford and Forster Sq station.
Disliked: I suspect the hotel makes most of its money on functions and unfortunately this is at the expense of other customers - there were parties in the function rooms on one of the nights we stayed that went on until the early hours of the morning with very loud music heard right up on the 3rd floor.

Liked: Fantastic location. Helpful, friendly staff. Lovely, large sized room with Internet tv.
Disliked: Bed was a little hard without a mattress topper, my husband could feel some springs. Lighting was all spotlights. Individual ones for each side of the bed but still very bright right over head, directly in your eyeline.

incredible building, comfy rooms.

Liked: absolutely beautiful old vast building. rooms updated recently seemingly and nice and homely.
Disliked: everything was fantastic with exception of the breakfast was really nasty and cost £14. i dont have high standards, love a bit of filth, but only ate some of it to spite my loss of money. the fire doors in my corridor were pretty loud too when trying to sleep.

Executive Double Room

Liked: A lovely hotel in a very convenient location for the city centre. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, no noise from other rooms/corridors all night or morning which is rare in a hotel, well appointed spacious rooms, powerful hot shower and lots of tea, coffee, milk sugar etc - more than enough for two people for one night. Would definitely stay again.
