Enjoyable.

Liked: Chose the Metropole because of proximity to both Kent Station (for day trips) and central Cork.Hotel coped well with the challenge of Storm Éowyn.
Disliked: Nominated car park was very 'tight'. IE It had been designed before SUV's were thought of.

Good location but not a...

Liked: Location to city centre was good, nice restaurants in the area. Breakfast is good.
Disliked: There is no parking at the hotel but you can park in a carpark for €12.00 per day- I tried to get into this car park but it is extremely tight and in rush hour traffic I was unable to get in. The "gym" is a bedroom on the 3rd floor, I went in early morning and there are 3 exercise bikes in a small room. I was also conscious people could be sleeping in the next room.

Liked: Great location, staff were wonderful and helpful, restaurant was delicious food including the breakfast
Disliked: VeryMild inconvenience with the renovation but that wasn’t a deterrent

Disliked: For the price aspects of the room were tired especially in the bathroom (painted over tiles and rusty appliances)
