Pleasant

Liked: If you need to be in New West this is a convenient place to stay with lots of historical charm. It is very close to Skytrain as well. Walking distance to Douglas College and some decent places to eat and drink.
Disliked: The area is fairly transitional and so you often get to interact with some very interesting people on the street in front of the hotel. The river view rooms do have a good view out over the river but they are also right on the main street so the room is quite loud at all hours.

Disliked: Very loud, could not sleep.

Sufficient

Liked: Easy to access, close to New West amenities, especially skytrain.
Disliked: It's an older building that shows it's wear, and noise from skytrain next door.

Liked: The location was perfect, nice restaurant next door too.
Disliked: The trains and clearly audible noise and talking from the units next to us.

Disliked: First of all, it took 1.30 hr in checkin and the hotel was not clean, they not even have water in rooms. There is not proper heating in rooms.
