Liked: Good location. Staff was nice and helpful.
Disliked: This is not a 4 star hotel. Rooms are not cleaned, also they don’t get cleaned during your stay. We were two guests and we had to share the same 2 towels for two days in a row. Shampoo and conditioner bottles were diluted with water - impossible to use. Check in and check out are done online, which means you have to insert your credit card and passport on a website before arrival.

Liked: Some of the staff members were very friendly and accommodating, others weren't
Disliked: The services for the rooms were very bad and sporadically, even when we requested to be clean up they didn't showed up. The room weren't serviced for about three days and we run out of toilet paper and clean towels.

It's not like described
Liked: The cafe they have is amazing. The food is so fresh and very affordable. The croissant is to die for!! Beautiful neighbors, friendly locals.
Disliked: The room:The room was dirty. The floors made the bottom of my feet and any socks black. I would have to wash my feet before getting into bed. I ordered 1 bed but got a room with two beds.Spacey but too much empty SPACE WHANG WHAT THESE PICS LOOK LIKE. The room had a bed(s), a bookcase (??), small TV, and a bathroom.Broken plaster and concrete. Mold. Stains on the box spring. Lastly, the hotel owns a MiniBar, which is on the hotels property. This is open until 2AM or later. I could hear the music ALL NIGHT SO CLEARLY THAT I COULD HEAR EVERYTHING. This was not part of the hotels description.I was ripped off by the room/the Meridian and by incomplete description. By the way, I did not voice these complaints during the stay because I was scared that I would be kicked out. The morning before arrival, I tried to get an early check-in, but the man at the front desk said he got the request but was unable to honor that because it was not available. This worker apologized because the site said this worker could get an email about results. The front desk worker kept speaking over this worker so that he could not honor something if it wasn't able to be honored. I understand but the request should he denied instead of being in a status.

Nice friendly hotel in great...
Liked: Location was perfect, a few minutes walk to the beach and Ocean Drive. Nice quaint hotel with friendly staff with the personal touch that you wouldn't get at a big chain hotel. Communications prior to arrival was great and pre check in online was useful. Loved the key code for the room rather than having a key / key card. Bed was comfy and shower was nice. Would definitely recommend and will be back.

Disliked: Sunday 5th. Arrived at 10:30pm. Gave us room 317. Smelled of mould. Plus water dripped on our pillow, from the ceiling. Rosa took a videoGave us new room 319. Fridge doesn't work. Not enough sockets, and all taken by lamps but better room. No chairs. One coffee capsule! Lamp doesn't work. Hair on towel.Water trip hazard in reception. water coming through ceiling everywhere, puddles on floor.Reception open and unmanned all night _ security issue: anyone can come inon the first night the bar staff and patrons from next door gathered in the reception lobby area (nothing to stop them and all hotel staff left for the nigth) and partied until early hours. we got around 3-4 hours sleep. This was about 200 yards from our room and v loud.Spoke to booking.com at 7am +44 2033202609 to Norhan. Registered a complaint Our holiday was so compromised we left after 2 nights and went to an Air BNB. we didnt try to get the 3rd night money back: we just left. So we have pay out another $130+ dollars.
