Liked: Staff were really great. The breakfast was really good = perfect start to the day. Comfy bed, great location. Free parking and pub downstairs is super handy to hang out and have a drink.
Disliked: It can be a little loud if you are a light sleeper and the lock on our door was very fidgety to lock.

Liked: The room was clean and the staff were pleasant. Breakfast was good.
Disliked: The plumbing in the bathroom left a lot to be desired. The shower was faulty and impossible to use so it was a bath or nothing. The water was exceedingly hot or very cold. The hairdryer on the bathroom wall was very old and only gave out cold air. The entire place was very tired and communal areas appeared grubby with light bulbs missing and ceiling lights on the stairs askew. The odour from the men's toilets on the ground floor by the residents entrance was unpleasantly strong.

Liked: The staff were fantastic. Breakfast arrangements were great. Location.Allowed me to park longer the day after .
Disliked: Pillows too soft. But that's picky.

Second stay

Liked: The breakfast is fantastic. Plenty of options and very filling. The staff there are all lovely and very helpful. The bath in the bathroom is very welcome. So many hotels have only shower rooms now. I really appreciate the bath after those stairs!
Disliked: No lift, but I understand this is an old building and not able to be converted. I just mention it because I struggle with the stairs and some people may not be able to climb them at all.

Liked: The breakfast was lovely and filling.
Disliked: The car parking is too tight to manoeuvre proper and badly designed so i had to park elsewhere and walk for 10 mins to the b&b due to local parking restrictions. The shower wasn’t great either.
