Very good

Liked: Dog friendly and friendly staff
Disliked: Poor window seal ( screwed shut) therefore nosiy. Wind howled all night disturbing sleep

Disliked: Definitely a student pub - don't expect luxurious bar fittings or a quiet lounge - good company though

Superb

Liked: Very accommodating staff in response to a last-minute (9.30pm!) request for a room. Very friendly and helpful all round, and a decent breakfast. Room and en suite were spotless.
