OK but would most likely...

Liked: The staff at check-in were amazing - very friendly and helpful. The location is also really good. Easy to walk to Regent Street, Covent Garden etc.
Disliked: The room was dark and felt like it was in a basement (we were on the first floor and this was supposed to be an upgrade on the room we booked!). There was no natural daylight at all. The blinds were closed when we went in and when we looked out of the window all we could see was a brick wall and air con units. This is obviously why they keep the blinds shut! As we were only staying for one night, we didn't ask to move rooms but if we were to go back, I would ask for a room on a high floor.

A wonderful stay

Liked: We had an amazing experience at The May Fair. Staff were so polite and friendly, customer service was excellent and the spa facilities were a perfect addition. Our room was upgraded and we had a beautiful studio room that was immaculately presented. The drinks tokens for the bar were also a nice touch. A great location to get to the theatre district and local eateries. Would definitely recommend The May Fair.

Liked: arrived at the hotel and encountered an issue, which I immediately addressed with the reception. A staff member named Dimitri quickly resolved the problem in a way that satisfied me. Also, a person named Ashton was very helpful. Overall, the stay was pleasant and comfortable, but there was some noise. Room service staff should be more considerate of guests in the rooms and be more careful when closing doors.There was another issue as well — some of the staff members lacked communication with one another, which made it harder to solve problems or caused delays in resolving them. This, in turn, affects the overall quality of the hotel.
