Location of The Marquette Hotel is a sure winner for easy downtown shopping; skyways joined everything together with the central IDS building. Like I said, the Marquette Hotel room was spacious and clean; had a restaurant and bar where we could watch the action of the city people. Friendly people working and an exciting city view overlooking downtown from our beautiful room. We've stayed there many times and will certainly be back for another visit.
Liked: The room was beautiful - large with windows on two sides looking down and over the city of Minneapolis.
Disliked: The only low point was $61 for three nights of auto parking.

Great location, staff and rooms! No issues with parking and very easy to get to. Convenient to all the shopping and sky walks. Had a great time.
Liked: Location.

Called the restaurant to carry breakfast items back to the room - so helpful and generous. Will definitely book here again.
Liked: Beautiful large room. Great bed and good climate control.
Disliked: None.

My friends and I did not want to share one bed which is the ENTIRE reason we chose this hotel. We thought we were getting what we had paid for (2 beds) and in the end they just gave us extra things to make us stop complaining, most of which we did not use because we were at the concert we had come to see. We won't stay there again.
Liked: Since I complained about this HUGE INCONVENIENCE they let us park for free overnight, gave me $7.10 off a drink, provided a roll away bed, and key cards to have free breakfast in the executive lounge.
Disliked: When I booked online I received my confirmation email saying I was going to get a room that had two double beds. When I arrived at the hotel my friends and I were put in a room that had one king size bed. They told us they had no other rooms available with two beds. So the room I was supposed to get had been double booked and I was informed that since I booked through a third party my room was not guaranteed and they could not switch our room to a bigger one.

Disliked: At 2:45 am our room was broke into through the adjoining door! A man had his hand through the door trying to unlock the chain. I tried to pull the door shut and he kept pulling on it, pulling the chain lock partially away from the door.

All in all I would say it was OK. However, I will be more aggressive towards looking at newly renovated hotels to stay at.
Liked: I did have a good experience with guest services. They were quick to accommodate and very polite!
Disliked: My expectations were high just because of the rating and name. However it was a bit disappointing to me. The room we were given was a city view but the drapes didn't open enough to actually view the city. The room was extremely cold and dry with a faint smell of cigarette smoke. The lighting was dim yellow lamps. I like a feel of low lighting but this felt like a card room basement - just not what I was expecting.

Very clean room. Shower was beautiful - loved the rain shower head. Beds were very comfortable. We did not hear a peep from anyone in the rooms around us either - that is awesome!
