Liked: Good location near downtown and bookstore. Very comfy bed with good quality linen.
Disliked: Public areas a little dated.Bath was very small though shower was v good

Liked: The staff were helpful, both my room and the hotel were very clean. Bed was comfy, good shower. Liked the kitchen area.
Disliked: It was advertised as having a bar but did not. There was a wine and cheese offering beside reception between 3-5pm.

Highly recommended.

Liked: The location--One block from Powell's books. What could be better?The room--A corner room with tons of space, a big shower, robes, great bed and bedding.The parking--In the basement with an elevator to the lobby. Cheaper than other hotels too.The staff--Very friendly. All around a classy stay at a budget price
Disliked: The fitness center was not great.I'd have like a bathtub, but the shower was a show stopper.

The location, comfort and value...

Liked: The hotel is in an excellent location, the room was spacious but more importantly very well laid out, functional, even had a microwave in addition to the fridge; the only item lacking was a coffee machine. For the location, size and comfort of the room, the rate and value were excellent. We had a very nice stay.
Disliked: The man who greeted us in on Monday, Nov. 11, 2024, around 3 pm I believe, when we inquired whether a room was available for us to check-in a little bit earlier, was not nice; he was very brusque, unkind, on the point of being rude, e.g., basically threw down the pen when he told us we needed to sign some paperwork, was so impatient in explaining to us about the parking situation, the difference between hotel and public parking, and direction for the parking, gave us little time to read the parking map (could have waited for us to take a picture for reference, for example).
