Disliked: A couple hairs were still on bedsheet under the pillow. Bathroom sink was clogged. Person who checked me in wasn’t too friendly to me and only checked me in quickly but was to other guests. All other staff though were exceptional so they made up for him.

Liked: The Mark Spencer is a gem! If you love the arts; if you appreciate a good value; and if you seek a good night’s sleep, this is a find. Unlike many hotels, they don’t tack on an extra “amenity fee.” I truly appreciate that. Be sure to wander around the hallways to see an extensive history of the arts in Portland.
Disliked: Everything is good.

Perfectly fine stay, convenient location.

Liked: Perfectly good and comfortable. Staff was friendly.
Disliked: Needs updating and some limitations for an old building. Dark room, not much natural light. Lobby is shoehorned in. One tiny elevator, the other broken for a week+ apparently. Stairs at the entry so I had to use alternate entrance for a roller case I had.
