Well worth a visit, lovely...

Liked: Staff were excellent and very helpful. View excellent. Location superb. Clean and refurbished. Staff happy to cater for dietary intolerances at dinner. Very clean.
Disliked: Dissapointing that the superior room was smaller than the standandard sea view and city view rooms. Would be worth the extra cost in summer but not winter.Shower was unsafe - you have to turn the heat control right up to start shower and right down to turn it off. Unfortuately with a fixed head shower you had to stand under the shower to reach the controls so you were scalded at the start and had a shot of cold water at the end. Shower is over bath and grab rail was impossible to use to get in and out of bath safely.Large and inventive variety offered at breakfast which may suit most people but not flexible if you want a small or simple bowl of fruit and yoghurt and poached egg on brown toast ( white sourdough does not toast well). The omlettes were actually frittatas and too heavy for breakfast, too much cheese and not cooked well.

Liked: We loved every meal we had from breakfast to dinner, have complimented the chef , the waiting staff and others .
Disliked: As we had a dog , we were given a room on 2nd floor . Although it was a large room with a good bed and linen , plenty of cupboard space , it was dated and not so clean . ( Fitted carpet / bathroom floor/ wall damage ) but lovely bath and hot water
